Fedora Core is a popular Linux Distribution developed by the Fedora Project in collaboration with Red Hat. Fedora Core is derived from the original Red Hat Linux distribution.
The goal of the Fedora Project is to build a complete, general purpose operating system exclusively from open source software. The project produces regular releases of Fedora Core about 2-3 times a year, based on a public release schedule.
